What is a Custom Reading?
Custom readings are for the astrological questions that don’t quite fit into the categories of my other offerings. If you’re interested in a specific placement, theme, or chart technique and want to work with it directly, this is where we can do that. How Custom Readings are Useful
Not every inquiry fits into a predefined format. Sometimes what you’re working with is more layered, or more focused, than a standard reading can hold. This session is designed for those times; for the questions, curiosities, and threads that need a different kind of attention. If you have a complex idea or focus for your session, this is likely the right space for it.
Custom Reading Session Details
All custom readings are held over Zoom and last one hour. We begin with a conversation about what you’re hoping to explore and any relevant context you'd like to share. This opening dialogue usually takes between 10 and 30 minutes.
The rest of the session is shaped entirely by the focus you bring. We might work primarily with your natal chart, or we may bring in other techniques such as transits, progressions, or solar return charts. If you want to zero in on a single planet, we can follow its expression across multiple chart types. The method depends on the material, and we’ll choose the tools that best support your inquiry.
Custom Reading Examples
Here are a few examples of how clients have used this type of session:
✑ A Venus-focused reading, looking at natal Venus placements alongside Venus transits, progressions, and solar return Venus, with a focus on love and relationships
✑ An exploration of creative energy, following the client’s 5th house themes, planetary aspects, and timing techniques related to output and expression
✑ A reading centered on Mars and its relationship to energy, burnout, and personal drive, working with both natal and transit charts
✑ A session investigating long-standing family dynamics through the lens of the 4th/10th house axis, outer planet cycles, and Lunar, Solar, + Saturn placements
